Wow "its been a long time since I' ve been on this thing"

Over the past couple of weeks i have been getting my work done with the notes and, getting more key terms and so on. As you can see i have way more key terms than what i used to. Yesterday we went to the library with our catalogs, to get books based on our projects we had a great time there.

Key Terms

Arch Bridge - a bridge whose span curves in the shape of an arch.
Beam Bridge - a bridge, usually with a short span, supported on beams whose ends rest on piers or abutments
Buckling - is what happens when the force of compression overcomes an object's ability to handle compression
Compression is a force that acts to compress or shorten the thing it is acting on.
Design - create deatialed plan of something.
Force - to create a way or passage through something using physical strength or another kind of power.
Girder - large strong beam, often of steel, froming a main spanning and suspporting part in a framework.
Length - distance from end to end.
Level - the amount or concentration of something.
Shape - the outline of somethings form.
Snapping - is what happens when the force of tension overcomes an object's ability to handle tension
Structure - something built or erected.
Suspension Bridge - a bridge suspended from cables.
Tension is a force that acts to expand or lengthen the thing it is acting on.
Truss Bridge - a bridge whose supporting structure consists of a network of beams in a series of triangular sections
Weight - the quality of heaviness in things.
